W.P.(C) 5740/2016 & CM No.23672/2016 Notice. Counsel as above accepts notice on behalf of respondents and states that even on earlier occasions the petitioner, who had submitted his request for voluntary retirement, which was accepted, was withdrawn by the petitioner. According to him it is only to avoid transfer, the petitioner takes a plea of seeking voluntary retirement. He further states that he has instructions that the request of the petitioner for voluntary retirement dated

4th June, 2016, which was received on 8th June, 2016, with effect from 31st July, 2016 shall be accepted by the competent authority with effect from 31st July, 2016. He also states, till that date the petitioner shall be continued in Delhi in the present place of posting. The said statement is taken on record. In view of this statement made by the counsel for the respondents, learned counsel for the petitioner states the petitioner shall not take back his request for voluntary retirement dated June 4, 2016 and the petitioner would get himself relieved on 31st July, 2016. The statement is taken on record. In view of the above, the present petition and the accompanying application are disposed of.
