The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ to quash the notice issued under Section 160 Cr.P.C dated 13.06.2016 in RC AC1 2015 A 0004 under Sections 13(2) read with Section 13(1)(e) of PC Act 1988 r/w Section 109 IPC whereby the petitioners have been called for attending the investigation on

20.06.2016, 21.06.2016 & 22.06.2016.

The learned SPP, CBI has submitted that the petitioners have been summoned as witnesses to join the investigation. 3.

The learned Spl PP has received instructions from Mr.P.Kannan, SP, CBI to the effect that:

"They have been issued notices for clarifying certain issues emerged during investigation. There is no plan to detain them." 4.

In view of the above statement, no further relief is sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the petition is not pressed. 5.

The petition accordingly stands disposed of.
