The petitioner's father was stated to be squatter in front of shop No. E-1, E-Block, Inner Circle, Connaught Place, New Delhi since 1996. Admittedly the father of the petitioner has expired on 06.06.2014. The case of the petitioner is that after the death of his father, the petitioner started squatting at this site since 07.07.2014. His submission is that he is protected under Section 3 (3) of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014. Even as per the case of the petitioner, he has started squatting at site after the death of his father. He however does not

dispute that a TVC qua respondent No. 1 has since been constituted. This petition is disposed of with liberty granted to the petitioner to approach the TVC for the redressal of his grievance including his right of substitution qua his deceased father. INDERMEET KAUR, J JULY 25, 2016
