This is a petition filed by one Mrs. Samra Mahak with the following prayers:- "(i) issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, certiorari or any other order or direction, thereby directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide security and safeguard to protect the petitioner; (ii) pass any other or further order as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper, in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and fair play."

It is averred in the petition that the petitioner married to one Hammad Arfi in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh on November 19, 2015. In December, 2015, she lived with her husband for a few days and returned back to her parental house. Between January-May, 2016 the father, maternal uncle and brothers of the petitioner wanted her marriage with other person, which the petitioner refused.

It has also been averred that thereafter, respondents 4 to 7 got some papers signed under duress. She, however, managed to escape and has taken shelter in the house of a relative at Tughlakabad Extension, New Delhi under the PS Govind Puri. The petitioner has sent an application dated June 19, 2016 regarding her wellbeing to the SO, PS Amroha. It is averred that the respondents 4 to 7 intended to harm the petitioner and the life of the petitioner is in danger.

Ms. Kamna, learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 and 2 states that if the petitioner has any apprehension from the respondents 4 to 7 or from any other person, the respondent No.2 shall provide necessary protection and for that purpose, the petitioner be directed to provide her mobile number. Learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 also states that the concerned police officer shall also give his mobile number to the
petitioner for communication purpose. This submission of learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 is agreeable to the learned counsel for the petitioner. The mobile numbers be exchanged by the parties. 5.
In view of the above, the petition is disposed of as such, taking on record statements made.
