% 22.08.2016 Respondent no.3 is father of petitioner no.1 and he is present in Court. Petitioner no.1 has married with petitioner no.2 on her own free will and without the consent of respondent no.3. Apprehending danger to their life, petitioners have approached this Court by way of present petition seeking police protection.

Vide order dated 24th June, 2016, SHO PS Adarsh Nagar was directed to afford adequate protection to the petitioners. Learned additional standing counsel submits that beat constable was sensitized, inasmuch as, telephone

numbers of beat constable and SHO were provided to the petitioners. Respondent no.3 submits that he has neither extended threat to the petitioners nor does he have an intention to cause any harm to them. In view of this statement of respondent no.3, learned counsel for petitioners, on instructions, submits that present petition is not pressed. Disposed of as not pressed.
