The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.247/2007 registered under Sections 420/468/471 IPC at PS Mukherjee Nagar. Status report is on record. 2.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. By an order dated 29.06.2016, the petitioner was directed to join the investigation as and when required. In the event of arrest, he was ordered to be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond in the sum of `20,000/- with one surety in the like amount till the next date. Status report reveals that the petitioner has since joined the investigation. The FIR pertains to the year 2007. Co-accused persons except Deepak Dabas have been granted anticipatory bail.

Allegations against the petitioner are of hatching conspiracy with co-accused persons.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required.

The bail application stands disposed of.
