% 18.07.2016 Petitioner nos. 1 and 2 have married without consent and against the wishes of their parents. Respondent no. 2 is father; whereas respondent nos. 3 and 4 are brothers of petitioner no. 1.

It is alleged in the petition that respondent nos. 2 to 4 are threatening the petitioners with dire consequences. Since petitioner no. 1 has married with petitioner no. 2 against the wishes of her parents, petitioners are apprehending threat to their lives. Petitioners have approached this Court seeking police protection. Status report has been filed by the Station House Officer, P.S. Khajuri Khas, Delhi stating therein that respondent nos. 2 to 4 were contacted and they have stated that

they have no objection to the marriage of their daughter Yasmin (petitioner no. 1) with Md. Waseem (petitioner no. 2).

Their statements have been recorded. It is further submitted that mobile phone numbers of beat staff and Division Officer have been provided to the petitioner no. 1 with instructions that she may contact the said police officials in case she faces any trouble from them.

In view of this categorical statement made in the status report, learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, submits that present petition is not being pressed. Disposed of as not pressed. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J.
