W.P.(CRL) 1937/2016 By this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioner seeks extension of parole granted to him vide order dated 9th May, 2016 passed by this Court. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the wife of the petitioner has undergone heart surgery and the wife of the petitioner is in the process of

regular check up with the concerned Doctor of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. He further submits that the parole granted to the petitioner is going to expire on 6th July, 2016 and the same may be further extended for a further period of 15 days on medical grounds. Considering the facts and circumstances and the fact that the wife of the petitioner has undergone heart surgery and presently under treatment at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, the parole granted to the petitioner is extended further for a period of 15 days from 6th July, 2016 onwards on the same terms and conditions. It is, however, made clear that on the expiry of extended period of parole, the petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent, Tihar and a report in this regard shall be filed in this Court.

The present writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Copy of this order be given dasti to the counsel for the petitioner. I.S.MEHTA (VACATIONN JUDGE) JULY 01, 2016 'dc'
