O R D E R

% 12.08.2016 I have heard learned counsels as well as interacted with the petitioner and her parents and the younger sister in chamber. The petitioner has agreed to return with her parents to the parental residence. The parents of the petitioner have assured the petitioner and this court that they shall not be angry with the petitioner for having left the home or expressing her desire to marry the person of her choice, namely, Rishi. They also assured the court that as and when the petitioner desires, they shall also approach Rishi and his parents so that the marriage of the petitioner and Rishi can be solemnised in an appropriate manner.

They have also assured that they shall not exercise any force, coercion or threat upon the petitioner for any purpose. It has also been assured by them that in case the petitioner wishes to leave her residence again, she would not be prevented from doing so.

Let the SHO and beat constable provide their mobile phone numbers to the petitioner. In case any complaint is received from the petitioner, the same shall be attended to without any delay.

In view of the aforesaid, the petitioner states that she does not wish to pursue the complaint made to the SHO, PS Chhawla on 28.06.2016. The said complaint shall be treated as closed.
