$~25 * IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI + RC.REV. 217/2017 GAURAV SETHI ..... Petitioner Through:
Mr. Rahul Shukla, Adv. with Mr. Akash Jandial, Adv.
versus KIMTI LAL ..... Respondent Through:
Mr. Sharvan Dev, Adv. with Mr. Pankaj Kashyap, Adv.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R.K.GAUBA
O R D E R
% 13.12.2017 The main petition seeking to assail the order dated 31.01.2017 passed on the file of eviction case No.1019/2014 by the Additional Rent Controller directing eviction of the petitioner from the subject premises was found devoid of merit and consequently dismissed by order dated 14.11.2017, but the proceedings have remained pending on the limited issue of the request of the petitioner seeking extension of time to vacate by one year. The previous bench had issued notice to the respondent in this regard. The respondent has appeared with counsel who submits that since premises are required immediately, he is not inclined to give any further time. The counsel for the petitioner submits that it would take some time for the change of the address to be notified to all governmental authorities which is the prime reason for request for enlargement of time to vacate. RC.REV. 217/2017
Having regard to the fact that the eviction petition was filed in May, 2014, this ground does not appeal to reason. Since the respondent is not agreeable, the eviction order having already been affirmed, no further directions are called for.
These proceedings are closed.
