Mr. Ashish Khorana, learned counsel for appellant appears through video conferencing and states that since the matter has already been amicably settled, as per the instructions, the appellant is no longer interested in pursuing with the present petition and it be disposed of as settled. 2.

It is also, very fairly, intimated by Mr. Ashish Khorana that in terms of earlier directions passed by this Court, Fixed Deposit (FD) had been deposited by the appellant and that in terms of settlement, such amount, with interest, be now withdrawn by the respondent. 3.

It is to that effect, the aforesaid application i.e. CM APPL. 38867/2024 has been filed seeking withdrawal of appeal.

Resultantly, while allowing the aforesaid application, the present appeal is disposed of as settled.
