CM No. 29669/2018 This is an application to amend and take on record the amended writ petition.

Having heard counsel for the petitioner, we are inclined to allow the amendment application and take the amended writ petition on record.

W.P.(C) 7113/2018 and CM No. 29670/2018 (stay) Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw CM No. 27085/2018, an application for ad interim ex parte stay. He states that petitioners seek implementation of Section 171(2)(c) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 in future contracts. At this stage, learned standing counsel appearing for GNCTD submits that the writ petition would be treated as a representation, and prayer and contention would be examined. Petitioner would be informed in writing within six months.

Recording the said statement, we are inclined to dispose of the present petition. We, however, clarify that in case the petitioner is not satisfied with the response given by the GNCTD, it would be entitled to file a fresh writ petition.
