% 22.08.2016 By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to re-establish social ties.
As per the status report filed, the father of the petitioner, who was the complainant in the case, initially refused to stand surety so did his two brothers. However, one of the petitioner‟s brother namely Aamir @ Imran had agreed to stand surety of the petitioner. Today in Court, Shamshuddin, father of the petitioner is present and states that the younger brother of petitioner is getting married and thus he wishes the presence of the petitioner at the time of marriage. He further states that he is in a position to stand surety of the petitioner. Despite the offence being very serious in nature, since the petitioner has roots in the society, he has been in continuous custody for last nearly 8 years and his jail conduct is also satisfactory, I deem it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is thus directed that the petitioner be released on parole for
four weeks on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `20,000/- with two sureties of the like amount one of which would be father of the petitioner, subject to the satisfaction of learned Trial Court. Petition is disposed of.
Order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
