% 13.07.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1. Learned counsel for respondent no. 2 also accepts notice. Counsel for the petitioner submits that matter has been settled between the petitioner and respondent no. 2, inasmuch as settled amount has been paid.

Counsel for respondent no. 2 also admits that entire settled amount has been paid in installments. He submits that respondent no. 2 has no objection in case FIR No. 349/2017 under Section 135 of the Indian

Electricity Act (Amend.), 2003 registered at Police Station Saket is quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
