The counsel for the appellant Union of India (UOI) states that the compensation for acquisition of land subject matter of this appeal was also the subject matter of LA. App. No.25/2015 titled Union of India Vs. Amrit Sagar with respect to land acquired vide same Award and dismissed on 4th May, 2016 on the basis of the earlier order of the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.3776/2015 titled Jai Singh Vs. Union of India. 2.

None appears for the respondent no.1.

There is no reason to disbelieve the statement of the counsel for the appellant UOI.
