This is a joint application moved for seeking extension of time. 2.
I am informed by counsel for the parties that the Arbitrator entered upon reference on 31.01.2017, and that the after expiry of the 12 months period, by mutual consent, time was extended by further 6 months.

I am further informed that the 6 months period expired on 09.07.2018.

Counsel for the parties say that since the matter progressed considerably and substantive time and effort has been invested time be extended by 8 months for the purpose of concluding the arbitration proceedings, time be extended by another 8 months. 5.
Accordingly, time for rendering award is extended by another 8 months.

The period of 8 months will commence from 09.07.2018. 7.
Needless to say, nothing said in this petition will foreclose the stand that the parties may take on merits before the learned Arbitrator. 8.
