O R D E R

% 19.09.2016 By this petition, the petitioner seeks regular bail in case FIR No.960/2014 under Sections 498A/304B IPC registered at PS Nangloi. The case of the prosecution was that Kishan S/o Thakuri Lal R/o Village Bham Nagar, Distt. Farukhabad made a statement to the SDM alleging that his daughter Preeti was married with petitioner on 15th December, 2012 and he had given sufficient dowry articles in the marriage. However, the petitioner started beating her after drinking and harassing her. On 25th December, 2015 he received an information regarding death of his daughter by hanging herself.

During the course of trial, out of the 17 prosecution witnesses cited, 8 material witnesses including the parents and brother of the deceased have been examined.

Considering the fact taht the petitioner is in custody since 25th December, 2014 till date, material witnesses have been examined and the

trial is likely to take some time, I deem it fit to grant bail to the petitioner. It is thus directed that the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `25000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court. Petition is disposed of.
