% 15.02.2016 CM No.5464/2016 By judgment dated 23.09.2013, the Motor Accidents Claim Tribunal while awarding compensation in favour of the first and second respondents herein had, inter alia, directed some portion of the awarded amount to be released in cash and the balance to be kept in fixed deposit receipts in State Bank of India, Tis Hazari Branch.

On appeal being preferred by the insurance company by order dated 06.11.2013 of a learned Single Judge of this Court, 80% was allowed to be released to the claimants in terms of the judgment of the Tribunal and the balance kept in fixed deposit receipt with UCO Bank, Delhi High Court Branch, New Delhi. It is stated that in terms of the direction of the Tribunal the claimants have opened account with State Bank of India, Tis Hazari.

The appeal was dismissed by judgment dated 29.01.2015. As now prayed, the amount lying in fixed deposit receipt with UCO Bank, Delhi High Court Branch, New Delhi, is directed to be

transferred to the accounts of the claimants with State Bank of India, Tis Hazari through the Tribunal.

The Registrar General shall carry out these directions by taking appropriate steps.
