* IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI + W.P.(CRL) 2095/2016 MAZHAR-UL-ISLAM ..... Petitioner Through:

Ms. Saahila Lamba, Advocate versus STATE ..... Respondent Through:

Mr. R.S. Kundu, ASC with Mr Visesh Wadhwa, Adv. with SI Dinesh Kumar, PS Seelampur

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIPIN SANGHI

O R D E R

% 28.09.2016 The status report has been filed by the State. The nominal roll as well as the status report shows that on an earlier occasion when the petitioner was granted parole between 14.03.2012 and 12.04.2012 by this court for a period of four weeks, he jumped parole and he was re-arrested in another case on 04.04.2013 i.e. after nearly a year. Moreover, the address provided by the petitioner has been got verified. The same is of one Mohd. Mukeem, s/o. Mohd. Ishaq, a distant relative of the petitioner. The status report shows that Mohd. Mukeem himself is involved in FIR No.864/2001 under Section 302 IPC registered at PS Sultanpuri.

In these circumstances, firstly, there is every likelihood of the petitioner jumping parole once again and, secondly, his release and cohabitation with Mohd. Mukeem may also lead to law and order problem in the locality.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
