BAIL APPLN. 1577/2018 The name of the petitioner has figured in the evidence that has been gathered during the investigation which is pending into the FIR No. 257/2018, under Sections 308/323/336/354/354B/34 IPC of the Police Station Begumpur, Delhi. Without doubt some of the co-accused persons, namely, Sandeep @ Khabru, Deepak and Kapoor Singh had been admitted to anticipatory bail by the court of Sessions. The petitioner had pressed for similar relief before the court of Sessions but his application (bail application no.2053/18) was dismissed by order dated 22.06.2018. BAIL APPLN. 1577/2018 Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and gone through the case diary, which has been brought by the investigating officer, it is noted that the incident in question is recorded in CCTV footage, copy whereof has been gathered as evidence. There is sufficient material to indicate that the petitioner had used a fire arm at the time of the incident.

In these circumstances, the case against the petitioner stands on a distinct footing.

No ground to release him on anticipatory bail is made out. The petition is dismissed.
