the respondents No.2 & 3, who are present in person along with their counsel.
The present petition has been filed to seek quashing of FIR/ NCR bearing No. 0044/2016 dated 12.06.2016 under Section 506 of IPC. The petition is premised on a settlement arrived at between the complainant and the petitioners. The petition is supported by the affidavit of the respondents No.2 & 3/ the complainants.
Learned counsel submits that since the parties have arrived at a settlement and the offence is compoundable, the FIR/ NCR may be quashed. Respondents No.2 & 3 also join the said request. Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the aforesaid proceedings pending. The same stands quashed. VIPIN SANGHI, J JULY 20, 2016 B.S. Rohella
