Mr Ahluwalia, learned counsel appearing for the respondents points out a letter dated 28.03.2016 (annexed as Annexure P-13), which clearly indicates that pursuant to the orders passed by the CIC, the respondents had taken a decision to supply the information as sought for by the petitioner (a copy of the inquiry report as to the incident). He also states that by a letter dated 07.02.2018, the said report was provided to the petitioner.

In view of the above, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
