O R D E R

% 06.07.2018 The petition at hand seeks quashing of the FIR No.451/2014 of Police Station Preet Vihar and the proceedings arising therefrom. The court is informed that the investigation into the said FIR has since been completed and a report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has been submitted in the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of East District, informing, inter alia, that sufficient evidence has come up during the investigation indicating commission of offences punishable under Sections 406/420/463/468/471/ 120-B Indian Penal Code, 1860 having been committed and thus, for summoning of the persons named in the said charge-sheet as accused to be put on trial.

In above view of the matter, it would not be proper for this court to sit in parallel scrutiny on the merits or demerits of the evidence presented before competent court of cognizance and contentions urged in this petition. The competent court is in seisin of the matter and the petitioners will have liberty to exercise their remedy available in law in the event of summoning order being passed against them.

With these observations, the petition and the pending applications are disposed of.
