% 15.07.2016 Complainant and petitioner are neighbours.

A quarrel took place between them. Complainant/respondent no.2 Mukesh Sharma has alleged in FIR that petitioner gave danda blow to him in the quarrel. On his statement, present FIR No.102/2016 under section 308/506 IPC was registered at police station Dwarka. It is submitted that a cross FIR No.101/2016 under section 354/354A IPC was registered against the respondent no.2/complainant on the complaint of petitioner's wife regarding the same incident at police station Dwarka on the same day. Petitioner and his wife and the respondent no.2/complainant have settled their disputes amicably. FIR No.101/2016 has been quashed today by a Learned Single Judge of this Court in

W.P.(Crl.) No.2007/2016.

Keeping in mind the above facts and also the nature of offences and in the interest of justice, the present FIR No.102/2016 under section 308/506 IPC registered at police station Dwarka and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, subject to cost of Rs.10,000/- to be deposited by petitioner with the Delhi High Court Legal Service Committee within two weeks.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
