% 25.08.2017 I.A.Nos.9567 & 9651/2017 It is prayed that the Fixed Deposit Receipts which are lying with the Registrar General of this court for an amount more than Rs.8,400.00 crores may be invested in the Liquid Mutual Funds in the name of the Registrar General of this court.

Let the concerned Joint Registrar dealing with the Fixed Deposit Receipts be present in court on 28.08.2017 to explain if the Registry is in a position to do what is requested. In the meantime, the learned counsel for the petitioner will also take instructions regarding such suggestions to invest the Fixed Deposit Receipts as above.

In the meantime, let the Fixed Deposit Receipts be released to the respondent for appropriate steps as directed by the Court forthwith. The FDRs be extended for another period of 8 days.

List on 28.08.2017.

A copy of this order be given dasti under the signature of the court master.
