CRL.M.(BAIL) 49/2019 Issue notice. The learned counsel named above accepts notice. The petitioner seeks interim bail to attend the marriage of his niece i.e. his sister's daughter. Marriage is scheduled on 19.01.2019. The petitioner is undergoing a sentence of 10 years, of which he has served more than 8 years. He has earlier been granted bail on many occasions and has not misused the liberty granted.
In view of the above, the Court finds no impediment in allowing the present petition. Consequently, the petitioner is granted interim bail for a
period of one week from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent concerned subject to the following conditions:- (1) He shall furnish his telephone number to the SHO concerned, which the petitioner shall keep operational at all times. (2) He shall not leave the territory of NCT of Delhi. (3) The petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities at the expiry of the interim bail.
With the above directions the application is disposed-off. A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties under the signature of the Court Master. Additionally a copy be served to the Jail Superintendent concerned through the police. NAJMI WAZIRI, J JANUARY 17, 2019 RW
