Ms. Takiar, who, appears for the respondent, says that the respondent has complied with the directions of this Court issued via order dated 14.7.2016, which, inter alia, required the respondent to file an affidavit disclosing his assets.

Furtheremore, Ms. Takiar says that the valuation qua the assets has also been placed on record.

To be noted the award passed in favour of the petitioner is in the sum of Rs.2,85,55,135/- along with interest.

3.1 I am informed that the petitioner has preferred a petition under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (in short '1996 Act') which is pending adjudication.

A request for accommodation is sought on behalf of the petitioner on the ground that Mr. Sumit Kumar Maniktala, advocate-on-record, is not available today.

In view of the fact that there is an injunction order operating, the matter need not be adjourned in the aforesaid circumstance. Accordingly, the order dated 14.7.2016, inter alia, restrains the respondent from transferring, selling, alienating his immovable and movable assets, except in the normal course of business, is made absolute. 6.

The directions contained in order dated 14.7.2016 shall operate till the disposal of the petition filed by the petitioner under Section 34 of the 1996 Act.

The captioned petition is, accordingly, disposed of. CCP(O) No.31/2017 8.

In the aforesaid circumstances, the captioned contempt petition, in my view, need not be taken any further.

The Contempt Petition is closed.
