CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 11.05.2015 Respondent nos. 4 and 5 are uncle and aunt of petitioner and, in fact, who have brought her up after the death of her mother; whereas respondent nos. 6 and 7 are cousin of petitioner.

Petitioner has approached this Court by way of present writ petition seeking police protection on the ground that respondent nos. 4 to 7 are threatening her with dire consequences if she refused to marry a boy selected by them.

Respondent nos. 4, 5 and 7 are present in Court and submit that no such threat was ever extended to the petitioner nor they have any intention to do so in future.

They further submit that petitioner has already married

someone of her own free will and they have nothing to do with her now. In view of the submissions of respondent nos. 4, 5 and 7, petitioner, who is present in Court, submits that she is not willing to press writ petition. Accordingly, petition is disposed of as not pressed Dasti.
