O R D E R

% 11.02.2017 The parties stand by the settlement dated January 24, 2017 in pre-sitting of Lok Adalat. The insurance company submits that the entire amount together with interest as awarded, was deposited with Registrar General of this Court on 13.12.2013. As per the settlement, both the parties have agreed to reduce the awarded amount of Rs.3,94,402/- besides interest, by ₹1,00,000/-. It is admitted that out of the amount so awarded the respondent has already received ₹25,000/- as interim compensation. Hence the Registrar General shall now release an amount of ₹2,69,402/- together with interest @ 9% per annum to respondent No.1 and whereas an amount of ₹1,00,000/- together with interest @ 9% per annum shall be refunded to the insurance company. Besides this the parties agreed that the statutory deposit of ₹25,000/- shall also be

refunded to the insurance company.
