W.P.(CRL) 2046/2018 The petitioner is on parole which is expiring on 14.07.2018. He seeks extension of the same for three months to enable him to take care of his wife who is carrying and her pregnancy has been planned at 37-38 completed weeks in terms of the medical advice of the Lady Hardinge Medical College & Smt. S.K. Hospital, New Delhi issued on 11.07.2018. According to the medical advice, since it is a planned termination, there could be complications prior or after the said medical termination. The factum of advanced stage of pregnancy of
his wife has been duly verified by the police in terms of the Status Report dated 12.07.2018.
In view of the fact that the petitioner is already on parole and the medical exigency of his wife, his parole is extended for a period of three months on the same terms and conditions on which he enjoys the current parole.
The petition is disposed-off in the above terms. A copy of this order be also sent to the concerned Jail Superintendent through police for information. NAJMI WAZIRI, J JULY 12, 2018/acm
