W.P.(C) 5887/2016 & C.M. No.24205/2016 (stay) Learned counsel for the petitioner at the outset submits that the proceedings under Section 85 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act are pending since last more than several years before the Revenue Assistant and the next date of hearing fixed by the Revenue Assistant is 30.7.2016. His submission is that the said petition should be disposed of at the earliest.

The Revenue Assistant shall endeavour to dispose of those proceedings within an outer limit of four months to which learned

counsel for the respondents has no object.

In view of the aforenoted submission which has been noted and taken on record, the present petition is not pressed. This petition is disposed of accordingly.
