% 12.07.2018 IA No. 8950/2018 (Exemption) Allowed, subject to all just exceptions O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 153/2018 This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Sole Arbitrator adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties in relation to the Loan Agreement between the parties.

The learned counsel for the respondents appears on advance notice and submits that the respondents have no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended as prayed for in the petition. In view of the averments made in the petition and no objection expressed by the respondent, the time for making of the Award is extended by a further period of six weeks w.e.f. 13.07.2018. The petition is allowed in the above terms, with no order as to cost.
