CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R.K.GAUBA
O R D E R
% 05.05.2017 The learned counsel for the petitioner wants to withdraw the petition submitting that the petitioner would like to move fresh application to the respondent State for release on parole, in as much as, the reasons given for the rejection by communication dated 14.02.2017 are no longer valid, there having elapsed the requisite period of six months after the last release. She also points out that the State generally causes inordinate delay in dealing with such matters as is demonstrated in the case at hand where the request made in November, 2016 was rejected in the middle of February, 2017. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. The State shall gear up to expedite the process of such requests. R.K.GAUBA, J.
