This is a petition under Section 29A(4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time for making of the Award by the Arbitral Tribunal adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties in relation to the contract for civil maintenance of township of respondent situated at Sector 33, Noida, UP, vide P.O NO.4800006068-015-10001 dated 29.09.2014 for a period of two years.

Counsel for the respondent, who appears on an advance notice submits that the respondent has no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended.

Having perused the contents of the petition and no objection

expressed by the respondent, the time for making of the Award by the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a further period of eight months with effect from 30th May, 2018.

The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to costs.
