The petitioner has filed the present petition impugning an order dated 22.05.2018 passed by the Appellate Authority (Divisional Commissioner), under Rule 22(3)(4) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009, whereby the Appellate Authority had rejected the petitioner's appeal against an order dated 08.02.2018 passed by the District Magistrate, District South-East, rejecting the petitioner's application for the eviction of respondent no.1.

It is stated that the parties (petitioner and respondent no.1) have arrived at a negotiated settlement, which is recorded in the Settlement Agreement dated 18.09.2018, entered into at the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre. In terms of the said settlement, the petitioner was required to pay a sum of ₹17,50,000/- to respondent no.1 and respondent no.1 had agreed to hand over the vacant, peaceful and physical

possession of the premises occupied by her on the first floor of the property, bearing no. B-3, Lajpat Nagar-II, New Delhi-110024. This Court is informed that the said reciprocal obligations have been complied with: the amount of ₹17,50,000/- has since been paid, and respondent no.1 has already handed over the possession of the premises in question. 3.

The said settlement agreement is taken on record and the petition is disposed of.
