Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that the disputes in both these cases have been settled.

As per the terms of settlement, the petitioner has agreed to pay, to the respondent, the amount deposited along with interest accrued thereon, in these proceedings, along with ₹ 15,000/- in each case. 3.

Accordingly, the registry is directed to release the said amount W.P.(C) 6718/2016 & W.P.(C) 6719/2016

to the petitioner, along with interest accrued thereon, within a period of three weeks from today.

In view of the above statement, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw both these writ petitions 5.
