CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 10.08.2018 Counsel for the respondent no. 2 (complainant) admits that matter has been settled between the petitioners (accused) and respondent no. 2. It is further admitted that the settled amount has already been received by respondent no. 2. Learned counsel for respondent no. 2 says that respondent no. 2 has no objection in case FIR No. 101/2015 under Sections 135/138/150 of the Indian Electricity Act (Amend.), 2003 registered at police station Malviya Nagar and consequent proceedings emanating

therefrom are quashed against the petitioners. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.

A.K. PATHAK, J.
