O R D E R

% 27.07.2016 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 3rd February, 2016, whereby respondent no.1 - Registrar of Cooperative Societies was directed to certify petitioner's claim with respect to formal allotment of constructed flats within four weeks.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that respondent no.1 has not complied with the aforesaid order till date. Mr.Ankur Chhibber, Advocates, who appears on advance notice for respondent no.1-Registrar of Cooperative Societies, states that documents of 118 members out of 126 members have been verified. He states that there is deficiency in the documents filed by 8 members. He further states that the petitioner falls in the category of 118 members whose documents stand verified. Mr.Chhibber assures

this Court that the cases of 118 members whose documents have been verified shall be recommended by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies in the next meeting scheduled to be held on 24th August, 2016.

The statement made by Mr.Chhibber, on instructions of Mr.Jitendra Kumar Singh, Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, is accepted by this Court and the Registrar, Cooperative Societies is held bound by the same.

In view thereof, the present contempt petition stands closed as satisfied. However, the petitioner is given liberty to seek revival of the contempt petition in the event the petitioner's case is not recommended on or before 31st August, 2016.
