O R D E R

% 03.08.2016 The petitioner has filed the present petition impugning the order dated 06.01.2016 passed by the Central Information Commission (CIC) in case No.CIC/CC/A/2014/901894/SB. The contention of the petitioner is that answer sheets are not liable to be disclosed to the respondent.

By the impugned order, the CIC has only directed that the evaluated answer sheets of the respondent be preserved till the decision of the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.5924/2013 (Joint Director and CPIO and another vs. T.R. Rajesh). There is no order directing supply of the copies of the answer sheets to the respondent. In view of the fact that there is no direction, as of now, to supply copies of the answer sheets to the respondent and the only direction is to preserve the same, the apprehension expressed by the WP(C) 6721/2016

petitioner in this petition is premature.

The petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court if any direction is issued by CIC directing disclosure of the answer sheets.
