O R D E R

Petitioner impugns order dated 05.04.2016, whereby leave to defend the eviction petition was granted to the respondent. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is aged about 74 years and submits that in cases directions are issued to the Rent Controller to expedite the proceedings, he shall not press the present petition. He further submits that in view of the subsequent events, he would also like to amend the eviction petition and incorporate the subsequent events that have transpired. RC.REV. 375/2016

In view of the above, the Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. 4.

Parties shall appear before the concerned Rent Controller for directions on 26.03.2020.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances and also the age of the petitioner, Rent Controller is directed to expedite the proceedings and endeavour to conclude the same within a period of one year from the next date before the Rent Controller.

Petitioner is also permitted to move an application before the Court of the Rent Controller for amending the eviction petition. The application would be considered in accordance with law. 7.

The petition is accordingly disposed of with the aforesaid directions.

The trial Court record be transmitted back to the Rent Controller forthwith.
