% 23.07.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no.1. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and accepts notice.

Respondent no. 2 has been identified by ASI Rameshwar of police station Mehrauli. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and has no objection in case FIR No. 3469/2015 under Sections 354(D)/506 IPC registered at Police Station Mehrauli and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioner. Affidavit of respondent no. 2 is on record at pages 41 to 42, wherein she has admitted that matter has been

sorted out between her and petitioner amicably. She further submits that aforesaid FIR may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the parties voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
