The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ as it may deem fit in the present facts and circumstances, directing the Respondent no.1 to complete hearing of CCITD No. 20 of 2013 within a fixed time period."

Ms Shobhana Takiar, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent states that the hearing in the matter had been delayed, as the incumbents had been transferred.

She assures this Court that the hearing in the case would be concluded expeditiously and a final decision would be rendered within a period of three months from today. She further states that the date of the hearing will be communicated to the petitioner well in advance and once communicated, the hearing will not be adjourned.
