CORAM:

HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE MUKTA GUPTA

O R D E R

% 08.09.2016 By the present petition, the petitioner seeks to challenge the communication dated 15th March, 2016 whereby the application of the petitioner for grant of parole was rejected.

The petitioner had sought parole on the ground that he was to get his minor daughter admitted in school in Delhi, get surgery of left eye of his old mother performed and to re-establish social ties. After rejection of parole by the competent authority, which was communicated on 15th March, 2016, the petitioner was granted furlough for a period of three weeks by the Director General (Prisons) w.e.f. 17th March, 2016 to 7th April, 2016. Thus, the purpose for which the parole was sought was fulfilled by the furlough granted by the Director General (Prisons). I find no reason to entertain the present petition.

Petition is dismissed.

Copy of the order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.

MUKTA GUPTA, J.
