O R D E R

% 19.07.2016 Issue notice. Learned APP accepts notice. He states that the police had already verified the address of the petitioner, which is found to be correct. The status report filed is taken on record. By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole for a period of three months to enable him to file a Special Leave Petition before the Supreme Court. The petitioner stands convicted under section 302/324 IPC. His appeal before this court also stands dismissed on 18.02.2016, whereafter he surrendered on 24.02.2016. The petitioner has undergone incarceration for a period of 7 1⁄2 years as on date.

In view of the aforesaid, the petitioner is granted parole for a period of four weeks to enable him to file the Special Leave Petition. The same shall be subject to the petitioner furnishing a personal bond with one surety in the sum of Rs.10,000/- to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendant. He shall provide his mobile phone number on his release and shall keep the same in working condition at all times and shall not change the same without prior intimation to the court. He shall report on every Monday at 11:00 a.m. before the concerned local police station to mark his attendance. He shall punctually surrender before the Jail Superintendant upon the expiry of the parole period.

A copy of this order be communicated to the Jail Superintendant. Petition stands disposed of.
