IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI

+ W.P.(C) 6109/2016 AHMED JAMAL SIDDIQUI ..... Petitioner Through :

Mr Rashid N.Azam, Advocate.

versus JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA & ORS ..... Respondents Through :

Ms Zeba Khair, Advocate.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJEEV SACHDEVA

O R D E R

% 03.08.2016 Learned counsel for the respondents submits that, without prejudice to the stand taken by the respondents in the petition, even if the petitioner were to succeed and were to be considered in the Muslim category, the petitioner would not have figured in the cut-off list as the merit of the petitioner is way below the last cut-off list, which has been issued.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that he does not wish to press the present petition any further. He wishes to withdraw the same.

In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
