W.P.(CRL) 2019/2016 By this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has prayed that further investigations of FIR No.246/2011 under section 448/452/380/120-B/34 IPC registered at police station Ghazipur be transferred from local police to the Central Bureau of Investigation.

Notice be issued to respondents. Learned additional standing counsel for respondent no.1 and learned standing counsel for respondent no.2 accept notice.

Learned additional standing counsel for respondent no.1 submits that investigations would be transferred to Crime Branch of Delhi Police. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that he would be satisfied, at this stage, if investigations are transferred to the Crime Branch of Delhi Police. Ordered accordingly.

Let investigations be transferred to the Crime Branch of Delhi Police forthwith.

Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Copy of this order be given Dasti to learned additional standing counsel under the signature of Court Master.
