CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANMOHAN
O R D E R
% 04.05.2017 Learned counsel for the petitioner states that since the petitioner is now receiving adequate water supply, he does not wish to press the present writ petition any further.
However, learned counsel for the respondent-Delhi Jal Board (DJB) states that the amount of Rs.2,31,87,462/- is due and payable by the petitioner and the water connection in question is liable to be disconnected in the event the said dues are not paid. Needless to state that the petitioner has to pay the outstanding dues which are raised by the respondent-DJB unless and until there is a stay of the demand by the competent authority. Since in the present case, no stay order has been shown to this
Court, the respondent-DJB is directed to take appropriate action in accordance with law.
With the aforesaid observations, present writ petition is disposed of.
