The prosecutrix has been examined in Court and she stated that she knew the petitioner since 2014 as they were friends. She further stated that she was having a love affair with the petitioner and both of them wanted to get married and their families were aware of their love affair and their intention to get married. On 21st September, 2015 a verbal altercation took place between the complainant and the petitioner and in a fit of anger the petitioner refused to marry the complainant and in anger the complainant lodged a complaint with the police. Considering the fact that the statement of the prosecutrix has already been recorded and the trial will take some time, I deem it fit to grant bail to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `25,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court, further subject to the condition that he will not leave the country without prior permission of the learned Trial Court.
