In terms of the order dated 24.05.2017, the respondent was direted to process the petitioner's application for being appointed as a Notary. The learned counsel for the respondent states that the said application has been rejected as it was not filed through proper channels. It is further stated that although, the petitioner had filed the application in a physical form, he had not submitted the online application.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that no such objection was communicated to the petitioner. However, he states that the petitioner would apply online and through the District Judge within a period of ten days from today. It is directed that on receipt of such application, the respondent would consider the same sympathetically and pass an appropriate order. The petitioner is a senior citizen and has been acting as a Notary from 1994 to 2015. The respondent shall give due credit to the petitioner for

the period that he has acted as a Notary.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions. 4.
