% 25.07.2016 The petitioner seeks grant of permission to carry out additional construction in his property, which is stated to be situated in the prohibited area i.e. within 50 meters of the protected monument of 'Chhoti Gumti' in terms of Section 20-A (3)(B) of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958. It is submitted that a representation to the said effect was filed with the respondents on 01.06.2016.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the representation is under consideration and shall be disposed of within a period of two weeks.

The writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a period of two WP(C) 6344/2016

weeks from today in accordance with law.

The decision on the representation shall be duly communicated to the petitioner. In case the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, the petitioner would be at liberty to avail of such remedies as may be available in law. Dasti under the signatures of the Court Master.
